Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 April 2026 · Effective: 23 April 2026
1. What these Terms cover
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and AI Vyuh ("Code QA", "we", "us") covering your use of:
- The Vibe Code QA GitHub App
- The Code QA API at
codeqa-api.aivyuh.com - The website at
codeqa.aivyuh.com - Scan reports, dashboards, and any other output we deliver
Together, the "Service". By installing the GitHub App or using the API, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
2. Who may use the Service
You may use the Service if:
- You are at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
- You are installing on repositories you own or have authority to submit for scanning
- You are not barred from using the Service by applicable law or sanctions
If you install on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. What the Service does
Code QA performs static analysis of your source code and returns a report identifying potential security issues, architectural concerns, dependency risks, test coverage gaps, and code quality signals. The report assigns a letter grade (A–F) and a list of findings.
The Service is an assistive tool, not a substitute for human engineering judgment. See sections 9 and 10.
4. Your account and access
Access is granted through your GitHub account and the GitHub App installation. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your GitHub account
- Keeping the GitHub App installed only on repositories you are authorised to share
- All activity that occurs through your installation
You can uninstall at any time from your GitHub organisation's Applications settings.
5. Free tier, rate limits, and paid tiers
The Service offers a free tier with a monthly scan limit per installation. Paid tiers (when available) offer higher limits, longer report retention, and additional features.
- We may enforce rate limits, throughput caps, or fair-use policies to keep the Service reliable.
- We may change tier limits, features, or pricing with reasonable notice (typically 30 days for paying customers).
- Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
6. Your responsibilities ("Acceptable Use")
You agree not to:
- Submit repositories you do not have the right to scan
- Submit code containing illegal content
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or target any person or group
- Attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, bypass rate limits, or access parts of the system you have not been authorised to
- Scrape, resell, or relicense our reports without our written consent
- Use the Service to train a competing AI product
- Upload malware or abuse the Service to attack third parties
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate this section.
7. Your content and licence to us
You retain all rights in your source code. You do not transfer ownership to us by using the Service.
To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access, process, transmit, analyse, and display your code and scan data strictly for the purpose of providing the Service and the outputs you request. This licence ends when you uninstall the GitHub App and the associated scan retention period (90 days) expires.
We do not train AI models on your code. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and subprocessors.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service — including the GitHub App code, analysis engine, UI, website content, and documentation — belongs to AI Vyuh and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service and its reports for your internal business purposes. You may share reports internally with your team and with third parties you have engaged to help you act on findings; you may not publish reports publicly in a way that implies endorsement by us without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers — read this carefully
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
- We do not guarantee that a scan will identify every vulnerability, defect, or quality issue in your code.
- We do not guarantee that every finding is correct — automated analysis produces false positives and false negatives.
- A passing grade does not mean your code is secure, compliant, or fit for any particular purpose.
- A failing grade does not mean your code is unsafe or unusable in context.
- You remain responsible for validating findings, deciding what to fix, and for the quality and security of your own code.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm) arising out of or in connection with the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI Vyuh and its personnel from any claim arising out of (a) code or content you submit to the Service, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your use of scan reports in a way that violates applicable law or a third party's rights.
12. Beta features and experimental functionality
We sometimes release features marked as "beta", "preview", or "experimental". These may be unstable, change without notice, or be withdrawn. Provided as-is, with no service commitments.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- You materially breach these Terms
- Your usage creates a security risk to the Service or other users
- We are legally required to
- We wind down the Service (we will give reasonable notice where practical)
On termination: your licence to use the Service ends, and our obligations end, except sections that by their nature survive (sections 7 last paragraph, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16).
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If the change is material, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for paying customers, notify the account email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
